Construction began on August 5, 2025 to upgrade the Stonebriar EID Lift Station. This project is required due to the additional homes that are being built by Elliott Homes in the Folsom Ranch area west of  the Stonebriar development. This home builder is responsible for, and bears the costs associated with this project. The Lift Station upgrade is necessary due to these additional homes being added to, and serviced by El Dorado Irrigation District (EID), with capacity of the current infrastructure located in the Lift Station not being sufficient to handle the increased demands imposed on it. Additionally, several life limited components in that facility are approaching their replacement timeframe and must be upgraded to continue to operate safely and efficiently as needed. RHCSD has been advised that this project will take approximately 8 months to complete, with completion expected in the March-April 2026 timeframe.
